Meet the Directors
Doneece Williams
Doneece graduated Texas Tech University in 2009 where she was a part of the Texas Tech Dance Company. After Graduation Doneece served as Adjunct Faculty in the Dance department for two and a half years.
In 2012 Doneece moved to San Antonio to begin her teaching career at Fox Tech High School. Doneece directed the Red Jackets Pom Squad for the 2013-2014 school year. Doneece moved to Highlands High School where she taught Fine Arts Dance Classes and was the Director of the Brigade Dance Team and Pep Squad for two years.
Doneece moved to Kyle in 2016 to teach at McCormick Middle school in its opening year and work as the Assistant Director for the Hays Highsteppers. In 2017 Doneece was given the amazing opportunity to become the Head Director for the Highsteppers and continue to teach Fine Arts dance.
Victoria Miramontez
Victoria graduated from Texas State University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in All Levels Special Education. She is currently the Foundational Learning Structured teacher at Hays High School and works with grades 9th-12th.
Victoria moved to San Marcos in 2018 where she began her college journey. Before college, Victoria lived in McAllen and was a part of the McAllen Memorial High School drill team all four years of high school. Victoria held an officer position as first Lieutenant her junior year and Major her senior year. During this time, Victoria was also a part of the Paloma Limas & Company Competition Team for two and a half years.
Victoria moved to Kyle to begin her teaching career at Hays High School in the beginning of 2023 and is very excited to return back to the dance world. Victoria is appreciative to be given this amazing opportunity to live in the best of both worlds teaching in special education and dance!
